See the giant baby! Mother gives birth to a girl weighing 13lb4oz WITHOUT a C-section in University Hospital in Leipzig, Germany

Consultant physician Matthias Knuepfer and nurse take care of Germany's heaviest newborn JasleenThe mother, who gave birth at University Hospital in Leipzig, discovered she had a previously undiagnosed case of gestational diabetes which can lead to a larger than usual birth weight

A baby weighing almost a stone and measuring 22.6 inches long has been born in Germany.
Baby Jasleen arrived on July 26 and weighed a massive 13.47 pounds.
Babies her size are usually born via a caesarean section, she was born naturally.The mother gave birth at University Hospital in Leipzig and discovered she had a previously undiagnosed case of gestational diabetes, German newspaper Der Spiegel.
This condition, which develops at around the 24th week of pregnancy, can lead to a larger than usual baby size.
Although both mother and daughter are doing well, Jasleen remains in the neonatal care unit.
