But there was no time to celebrate as the singer was back in the studio again on Thursday.

Wrapped up against the chill in the city she wore a large padded jacket over simple black jeans, T-shirt and boots.

Her hair was tied off her face in a half ponytail and she covered her eyes with a pair of large sunglasses.

The news comes as it was revealed that she has been ordered to attend a deposition in an ongoing lawsuit involving her former Beverly Hills home.

In 2011 she sued several companies over water leaks at a mansion in Beverly Hills, California that she bought for $6.9 million in 2009.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Yvetee Palazuelos issued the order in the ongoing case between the entertainer and LaRocca Inspection Associates Inc.

Double act: The song was also a hit in the UK marking her eighth number one
