Kerry Washington's husband Nnamdi Asomugha has received some bad news. The 32-year-old NFL cornerback was waived by the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, Nov. 4.
Eric Wright will take Asomugha's place after coming off the non-football injury list. According to the 49ers' website, Asomugha signed a one-year contract with the team in April after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012. Asomugha played in three games and recorded three tackles and two passes defensed with the team.
